Stevie Ortega was born and raised in San Diego, California. In 2013 he graduated barber school.

 

His first major project involved assisting with the Byrd pomade legacy as a head barber for their pop-up events. After expanding his knowledge and polishing his craft, Stevie began working for CH projects and opened up their barbershop, “The Dover.” 

 

Once he outgrew that space, Stevie opened up, “2611 Club,” a gallery / barbershop in a loft where he hosted art shows and would cut hair by appointment.

 

His newest venture, “Stevie’s Barrio Logan,” can be found in the heart of Barrio Logan. The space features a barbershop, vintage thrifted goods, and art for sale.
